It's unfortunate, really.
There's a gal online who sells crystals. They are of good quality and I've spent a good amount of money (close to 4 figures) buying her stuff for me and for gifts.
She spends a LOT of time on FB and IG as an 'influencer', and her entire life is out there for review as well as her mom's. That's great. We 'know' them.
A while back, I had occasion to ask a question about a piece that I purchased.
My question was, will you be getting more? - I'd like to buy another as a client gift. (This piece is in the $300 range -- the high end of what she markets.)
She's in FB all the time - so I messaged her. No response.
Okay. I get that we're busy and I have all but abandoned my Messenger - it requires more energy than I'm interested in spending.
BUT I am not 'doing business in there'!
So I posted the question to her page. "I messaged you about this. Do you anticipate getting more of these in? Any ETA? I'd like to purchase for a client. Thank you!"

Again, no response. I 'hoped' maybe an assistant might be able to relay a message or maybe even answer the question.
But I CONTINUE to get emails about this and that . . . practically daily.
Do I even bother with this shop again?
I realize that she has automated her business.
We automate ours too, and it's convenient.
But when a REPEAT CUSTOMER has a damn question and is SPECIFIC about it . . .
you run the risk of never seeing them in the purchase cart again if you aren't willing to communicate!
