Fort Benning is back, y'all!
This makes me very happy because that's where my mother met my stepfather, a U.S. Army soldier at Fort Benning, Georgia. While the woke crowd did their best to erase history, I am so happy that Pete Hegseth said, "No more." changing the name rightfully back to the original one.

This military installation post, founded in 1918, was named in honor of Cpl. Fred G. Benning, who served with extraordinary heroism during World War I. For people to pretend he never existed, erodes the legacy of American history and Benning's sacrifice and bravery during wartime.

Erasing someone else's name for political reasons is unacceptable by any standard. Fort Bragg has also been restored! Our family spent time there as well. Try, as some activists might, they cannot take away the memories that people carry in their hearts by changing a name to their liking.

Hegseth said, “There’s a reason I said Bragg and Benning when I walked into the Pentagon on day one. But it’s not just Bragg and Benning. There are a lot of other service members who have connections, and we’re going to do our best to restore it.”
