I can't tell you how often I've looked at an AR blog and there is no mention of where the agent even is. What state? What city?  How to contact them. What's the point?

Always remember being told not to be a secret agent, so I try to let everyone know what I do and how to reach me.

Kathy you bring up a very good point.  Sometimes I get the feeling that people in this industry are ashamed of what they do, and even when I go to their profile it is still hard to determine.  Also I have lost track of the number of times I have wanted to call a member and can't find a phone number here on AR, or any of the websites they are on.  It is almost like they want to be a secret agent.

I hope everyone reads your post! You are so right! When I started to train my community to read my market reports I double checked to make sure they knew how to reach out to me. It works!

Kathy, it is best to have your contact information easy to locate for anyone wanting to reach out.

Kathy this has been something I've kept my eye on here on AR and other areas as well.  Years ago we call them 'secret agents', Nobody had any idea who they were or what they did!!!  And I'd say to them....who does that make sense to?  Nobody!  Make it easy for people to contact you - real easy!  Great post!

I went to my blog page and decided if they can't see my number and name and state and what I do in the headers...I might not want to work with them anyway!!   

And then...I saw a few small things that could be updated...so thank you for sharing your blog and watch for little changes on my blog headers!!  Mike 308-627-3700

I need agent contact info all the time to schedule an inspection. Mostly the listing agent info. I usually have to take the extra time after checking their website to now go to Facebook and see if they have the email address there. If not, then it's another step to text them and wait for them to reply. Just make it easy, please.

Kathy, I don't understand why people who blog on this site don't make use of the Blog Signature block to make all their contact information, what they do and where they work apparent.
