This weekend, while in San Francisco, we took a spontaneous drive down the coast and found ourselves at a quiet beach near Pacifica.
As I walked along the shore, my gaze landed on my daughter-in-law and grandson. They stood side by side, their silhouettes framed against the endless horizon, watching the sun dip below the water. There was something striking about the moment—simple.
I paused for a moment, absorbing the warmth of the scene.
It's the little things that count.
