Friday Flags  A Matter of Wishing a Safe Drive Home

As we were making our drive home, we stopped as we needed food, and the car was thirsty also.

As we were leaving the fuel stop, I looked cross the road and there was a flag pointing the way to get back onto I-95, and it shown as have a safe drive as well.

It was a happy omen as well as a good omen as the drive was uneventful, and we were happy to get back to a chilly yet comfortable home base.

Hello Ed - opportunities to rest, relax and refresh are important parts of each journey.  Moments to stop and reflect on what is happening around us can't be dismissed either in my opinion.  The sights we see can often be inspiring.

Good morning Ed. When I got the first glance of your phot this morning my first thought was it was captured somewhere along I-95. The hint was the height of the pole. Excellent pointer of the right way home. Glad you had a safe trip, got the rust out of your golf game and are ready for the coming golf season. Enjoy your day.

When driving down or up I-95 to Florida there are many times when one gets to be impressed by the very large flags beside or close to the highway. They usually flap slowly in a light breeze but always look so inspiring.
