The title of my post is in Finnish and it was taught to me by a beautiful young woman nearly 40 years ago (she obviously made a big impression on me). Translated Heinasirka, heinasirka, mena taalta heiteen means Grasshopper, grasshopper jump into the sea. This is what St Urho commanded a plague of grasshoppers to do back in Finnland centuries back.
St. Urho, Legendary Patron Saint of Finland
Saint Urho's Day is celebrated every year the day before Saint Patrick's day. You can read all about it HERE.
Saint Urho's day is absolutely as real as Santa Claus, Kwanzaa, & the Easter Bunny.
