While at times we may wish there was a physical manifestation that would take place when someone is lying to us it's probably a good thing it doesn't happen.

Think about how it would change dating.

Politics

Raising Children

How would it change us? Maybe Pablo Picasso had and eye for that.

 

It's always best to try to be honest with all the people we come in contact with. It would be a much better world if we would all try to keep our noses one length and not have our pants (or pant suits) on fire.

Do you enjoy the cartoons written by my son (Timmothy N. Timm) which I use as a springboard to write my daily posts? His strip, Titus & Philemon, has run in two newspapers for years as well as being printed in my blog every day. Titus & Philemon (pronounced Phi - Lee -Man) are guinea pigs. Their owner is Joe. Timmothy has never repeated a joke/comic strip in the 12 years he has been writing it. He has never copied another strip, such as Peanuts or Garfield. Hello Bob - your post reminds me that I saw Shallow Hal when it was first released.  But like other movies I have seen over the years, much recollection beyond that is gone.  At least, that memory remains but for countless more movies, some are gone as soon as I leave the theater.

It's fairly fresh in my mind Michael Jacobs because we (the Timm family) watched it in December. I remembered that Gwyneth P caught a lot of flack from women's groups for doing the movie.

They are called politicians Brian England and they are on both sides of the isle. Even though it is not fair I like the saying that you can tell if a politician is lying, his/her lips are moving.

I can only recall one Motel 6 stay and that was in Bismarck ND. It was pretty good back then 30+ years ago Wayne Martin but even back then the rate was about four times their rate when they were called Motel 6 for a reason.

Bob "RealMan" Timm - My only experience was a Motel 6 in Florida. Maybe they didn't clean the room after the previous occupant. Don't think it is that way at others but never took the chance. Can't get the memory out of my mind.
