Wordless Wednesday…Eggs Abound and a Mystery!

Hello Kathy - supply, demand and anticipation of many kinds are filling the basket case that is my mind for a number of reasons.  In the meantime, I count my blessings. . .

Lots of eggs!  Is this more than usual or less?  Or, is it about the same amount of eggs?

You have some prolific layers this year.

Kathy Streib - I see six in the bluebird box at Kickerillo. 

Seven in your nest is amazing. You must be so excited! If you get seven or more, will you contact your local newspaper? I can only imagine the day the eggs hatch. I sure hope they all survive and sing for you.

Hmmm...looks like you would have an awesome scrambled egg breakfast. (kidding) :)

Hi Kathy,

The mama bird, perched proudly over her five eggs, realized her counting skills were a bit... scrambled. She could only tally up to two! Flustered, she shot a chirp to her neighbor, the other mama bird with seven eggs. "Listen," she chirped with a feathery wink, "six is the luckiest number. Mind sparing one of your eggs for the greater good of symmetry?"

And just like that, with a peck of agreement, both nests were harmoniously stocked with six eggs each—a perfectly eggcellent solution!

Kathy there might be seven eggs in the 3rd bluebird box.

Kathy I think you and Larry and the best little bird lovers in the world!  I'll go with whatever you two think as for another egg as you're the experts.  Not me by a long shot - or is that egg!

Kathy, interesting, and of course, you shouldn't touch them, right, to move them?

Thanks for sharing the joy of these little moments—can’t wait to see how this egg saga unfolds! And is that a hidden 6th egg? No, it looks more like glare from the sun or a light shining through a window.
