Have you called a Rainer that hasn't posted in a While?

Many Rainers you make a connection, and some you actually meet face to face.  Some you talk on the phone, but that connection has been made!

Many of my REALTOR friends ask me, how do you connect with these REALTORS?  Well, after many months after months of reading their posts, you get to know their model of operation, their way of doing business.   You KNOW they are the REALTOR you would choose if you had that decision!  

We have seen over the years many REALTORS have made the decision to exit from ActiveRain.   They haven't posted in years!    Many of these REALTORS you would absolutely refer your clients to.

Usually I pick up the phone to have a conversation.  Some have done the same.  We want to connect!

I had a conversation with a REALTOR on the EAST coast that I have talked to in a quite, so we had  a "wine conversation" set up in our calendar today, and was SO fun.  Even after two hours, it wasn't enough, but we have a conversation set up in two months for another catch-up.

Wayne, gosh, the other day I could come up with at least 20+ Rainers that used to interact daily, and have disappeared.

Hello Joan - I'm glad you had a good experience.  As for me, I haven't made a call to another rainer in a while.  And I think that might have been to Brian England for a breakfast meetup of sorts in SoCal earlier this year.

It's amazing how we can "get to know" Rainers just by reading their posts. We then level up when we talk to them and then move up to another level when we meet in person. It is so special that we already feel like old friends when we meet for the first time. We did that this winter, didn't we? 😊

Joan Cox - I remember a phone conversation about seven years ago after I received your voicemail message (I didn't have your phone number programmed at the time).  These days, programmed number or not, calls are not answered and I let them go to voicemail.

Glad to hear you had a two hour conversation with Amanda for 2 hours! I catch her posts on Facebook every so often but just seems there are not enough hours in the day.
