Friday Flags: The Flags are in All Over the Course, Mar 2025

For the golfers in the Greater Waterbury CT area the small flags are flying to kick off the golf season.

It is still a bit nipsy and for this Friday snow is in the forecast, but as I drove by the course earlier in the week the wind gave me a reason to stop.

With the season started there is now someone that can attend to the flag on a daily basis, and it was waving proudly.

A small walk down the 18 fairway allowed me to get a shot of both flags.

While a score of 39 would be wonderful on the back nine, that is just too cool of a temp for me to venture out yet. Maybe just a bit spoiled form the southern run I just took.

Soon enough as the yard is still in need of some attention.

Ed Silva, this is such a great reminder that real estate—like golf—is all about timing, patience, and keeping your eye on the flag! Hope the warming weather brings both great listings and low scores. 🏡⛳ #RealEstateTips #OnParWithTheMarket

Good morning, Ed... never too many flags as far as I'm concerned! If it's too cool for golf isn't it too cool for yard work?

It's almost time to get on the local course(s)! And it's wonderful that they've got the flags flying.

Kat Palmiotti   There a few open in the area but the cold weather is putting a damper on the wet fairways.

Good morning Ed. Love your Friday Flag series. We have a golf course close to the house the has not opened yet and one not far away that rushed to get their flags in the other dsy so guys could play in shorts. Today they might need long underwear. Soon but  many are not ready to brave the cold. I agree with you 39 would be a fine score but I never played at 39 degrees.Enjoy your day.

We are getting some big swings in temperature on a daily basis, and when the wind is blowing it can be very chilly.

Hi Ed- we've had cool mornings (mid 40s) with temps going up to high 70s. No complaints.  But it's been really windy so the flags are proudly waving.

Ed, we are still seeing days in the 40's and low 50's, so still nippy here too.

Hi Ed:

I always enjoy seeing your flag photos!

Those clouds look rather ominous and it looks cold! Hopefully it will soon be better golfing weather for you.
