I love your creativity in your call to action posts! DOING IT MY WAY is not the best recipe to follow when purchasing a home!

Yeah, I will take the home actually built to code. What exactly is wood like paneling anyway or a reach in closet- isn't that just a closet?! lol. I think we encounter these owners in every market. I know one of my colleagues helped a buyer purchase an apartment on Park Avenue that had a built in stage and Stripper pole...obviously that all needed to go. A lot of these Park Avenue and 5th Avenue buildings have strict (read ridiculous) rules around renovating- i.e. renovations could only happen during the summer months when most owners are out of town and my colleague helped the buyer to get the board to allow the owner to bypass Summer Rules- because the board hated the thought of a built in stage with stripper role in their building. 

On a separate note, my great Uncle was roommates with Frank Sinatra before he became famous. They were both musicians getting their lives started. Sinatra became one of the greats...my great uncle had some sort of medical complication which limited his musical career.
