DO IT YOURSELF or DO SELF IN? (life choices)

I mean no disrespect to anyone that likes to do things for themselves or to represent themselves. As individuals in this mighty Country of privileges called the United States of America, every citizen here has unprecedented rights and entitlements granted to them. So, if you want to represent yourself or perform an act on your own, YOU MAY

BITING OFF MORE THAN YOU CAN CHEW?

You can represent yourself in a court of law but be advised that you will not be given any special privileges or concessions. You must operate in accordance with the standards outlined in law schools & courts of laws. Ignorance of the law is no excuse (sound familiar)? YOU must know what they know. Proceed at your own risk and always consider that the real challenge may-be you, instead of the issue at hand

SAVING MONEY IN REAL ESTATE?

For you buyers, sellers and investors of Real Estate, you too may proceed in an unlicensed capacity and transact. However, ignorance in this area can be costly to say the least. Many can come and go plus prevail for the better, but the few who fell, who stumbled are out there hurting and have chosen litigation or loss as their recapture/remedy strategy. There comes a time when outside help goes inside

WORTHY NOTE: Regarding Real Estate transacting? There are no do-overs!

MEDICAL FIELD

In this arena, people go panic-driven drastic & radical seeking medical relief by seeing a doctor, hospital, getting drugs & ongoing treatment. Treating yourself is out of the question is the time-honored dictatum, but let's explore this for balance

GOOGLE SEARCH

Before the Internet, the library was the go-to along with personal opinions & stories people told each other about their ailments & treatments. That had been going on for 1000's of years called home remedy. Today, we can get professional feedback & input, & in some cases, not have to see a professional. Aspirin anyone?

EMOTIONS AND TRUTH...OIL AND WATER

Let us all be reminded that emotions connect us to many things especially when we are involved or on the front lines. If you have something to gain or lose, your emotions and your will, are triggered and go on point. They can sometimes blind you or distort the facts causing you more harm than good. Emotions and truth do not cooperate well at all. Calming down or remaining calm, is no myth but a warning that something "not good" will happen if you don't!

BEING OBJECTIVE

Some people can find their centers and operate out of them objectively, without emotions, ego or pride interfering, making them candidates to be successful in any endeavor. Again, certain things are not fit for learning curve if they are high end, high risk or uncertain in their make-up. If your confidence level says GO FOR IT, then best of luck to you. If not, playing safe means you get to play again

WORTHY NOTE: The IRS doesn't care about your learning curve or honest efforts. Make a mistake & fines, penalties & ? await you. CPA anyone? Worth the cost

COMPETENCE POOLS

For those that want to play without having to fast track and jump-in, there are professionals standing by in every category of need eager to help. But who do we pick and how do we choose from these pools of competence (?) to meet our needs and accomplish the tasks? How do we know who's who or what's what?

That is another post.....
