Gosh, how did April already arrive?
Today is April 3, and we are expected to experience April showers. We are still not experiencing as much rain as usual; however, when it does rain, it comes down in heavy amounts here.
I'm grateful today for my landscaper who has weeded and mulched my entire property. I'm grateful to have the means to pay for help as I just can't keep up with it at 65! In preparation for spring, I had my front and back walkways power-washed and all the beds mulched. We had so much rain that the front garden bed washed all the mulch onto my newly power-washed front walkway. I'm not quite as thankful for that, but as the expression goes, into each life, at least some rain must fall.
Today, I'm thankful for my pets: Joey, the mischievous dog, and my two cats, Dusty and Dani, who are both 14 and are very much a part of our family. As always, I am thankful for my family, especially my little granddaughter, who seems to be displaying her grandmother's sense of humor.
Carpe Diem!
