A New Taste of Carlsbad Village
~ Brunch Edition ~
SEE UPDATES IN RED AS OF 4/9/2025
There’s a new Taste of Carlsbad Village in 2025 – the Brunch Edition. With the wildly successful Taste of Carlsbad Village year after year it was only a matter of time. This Brunch Edition, like the fall Taste of Carlsbad Village, is sponsored by the Carlsbad Village Association.
The Taste of Carlsbad Village Brunch Edition is on Saturday May 17th from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Come enjoy specialty coffees and teas, pastries, quiches, crepes, breakfast tacos, breakfast sips (think espresso martinis and mimosas) and so much more.
So why the early announcement more than a month in advance?
There are a couple of reasons.
First, the Taste of Carlsbad Village is very popular, and it sells out quickly each year. So it’s expected the Brunch Edition of the Taste of Carlsbad Village will be similarly popular, plus there are limited tickets.
Note - Tickets may only be purchased through the Carlsbad Village Association website. TICKETS ARE $50 - ALL FOOD AND BEVERAGES INCLUDED.
Second, tickets go on sale April 14 at 9 am! So you’ll want to mark that on your calendar and set an alarm so you don’t forget and miss out. A limited number of tickets will be sold and it’s expected they will go fast.
What Can You Expect at the Taste of Carlsbad Village Brunch Edition?
Carlsbad food lovers can spend 3 hours on a self-guided tour with a map and Passport (your ticket), tasting their way around our charming Village. The appeal is the opportunity to enjoy bite-sized samples from multiple popular local restaurants with a focus on breakfast, brunch and lunch.
This is a terrific opportunity to check out restaurants you don’t know or haven’t tried yet. And you can enjoy your favorites, too!
Some of the participants (UPDATED WEBSITE INCLUDES SIP STOPS) announced so far include Froglanders, Senor Grubby’s, Lofty Coffee Company, Le Papagayo, Lola’s Deli, Daily News Café, and American Heroes and Brew. See the Carlsbad Village Association website for the current roster (UPDATED SINCE POST WAS WRITTEN).
I could not find any ticket prices yet but will share those when they are announced. My expectation is they may be similar to the Taste of Carlsbad Village prices. But it is sure to be worth it.
Parking is free in Carlsbad Village, which is a plus. But expect a big crowd, and weekends are busy in the Village anyhow, so arrive early to find the best parking. No doubt there will be plenty of food lovers in town for this new foodie event!
