This is primarily for newer members, as many of us have been on this platform since Moby Dick was a minnow.
I always write posts and keep them in draft mode until they are ready to go live. I can go through my drafts to see what I want to work on before submitting a post. Publishing my posts late, gives me the next day to respond to any comments.
The next morning, I checked my emails, and there were no likes and no comments! I thought, "Did I offend someone? Did I fall off the blogging map?”
After waiting, refreshing the page, and pondering the meaning of life for what felt like an eternity, I decided to recheck my post. And you probably guessed it. It was still in draft mode! Now it all made sense—of course there wouldn't be any comments if no one could see it!
With a quick tap, I flipped to 'Public’ and within minutes, comments and likes appeared! A few minutes there were even more.
So, here’s a friendly reminder to all my fellow bloggers: Always write your posts in draft mode, so you can save them, but don't forget to take them out of draft mode! You never know how many people are waiting to hear it!
