Minna, are you starting to see short sales in your service area?    We have very few foreclosures, but haven't seen short sales.

Yes I am, in both my states. CT and more so in FL. Foreclosure activity has been mostly nonexistent since Covid, until now. The last administration has spent a lot of money to keep the foreclosures at bay throughout the last 4 years. The worst is FHA - They have been keeping homeowners in homes without payment for years through the use of multiple modifications and HUD Partial Claims. It's been an unsustainable situation and I'm surprised it took this long to start to unravel TBH.

Sorry but your post is giving me flashbacks.  I certainly do not miss the short sale days of 2008 through 2012 and hope that we don't experience that again in the future.
