This afternoon, I had the absolute joy of meeting the newest member of my son’s family, sweet little “June Carter!” She’s an 8-week-old white lab who has already stolen everyone's heart (mine included!).

Their journey to find her is a story in itself, they initially missed out on a litter because there were only three females, and they were fourth in line. But leave it to resourceful Beckett to save the day! She found a wonderful breeder in San Antonio, and just like that, June Carter came home on Thursday!
June is settling in beautifully, she’s sleeping through the night, getting into a good routine with her meals, and even letting everyone know when she needs to go outside. Smart girl!
Hudson and Beckett are doing an amazing job sharing responsibilities, and there’s certainly no shortage of toys to keep her busy. What a perfect addition to their family! My heart is full!

I’m so happy I got to meet her today, and how fitting is this? I came home and read Nina Hollander, Broker post that today is National Pet Parents Day, I’d say the timing was just perfect! |
