22nd Annual Gator by the Bay Festival
The popular Gator by the Bay Festival will take place Thursday May 8th through Sunday May 11th, Mother’s Day weekend, in San Diego!
The Gator by the Bay festival offers something fun and different to do in San Diego with numerous musical acts on multiple stages, tons of crawfish from Louisiana and much more. You’ll feel like you are in Louisiana at this 4-day festival experience!
Now in its 22nd year, this “Mardi Gras-like festival in May” takes place at Spanish Landing Park on San Diego Bay near Lindbergh Airport (West Basin at North Harbor Drive, across from Lindberg Airport’s Terminal 2).
The festival is 4 days of zydeco, blues, honky tonk, salsa, Cajun and more, with continuous music and a huge lineup of bands on multiple stages. There will be plenty of dancing, dance lessons, a marketplace, cooking demonstrations, and lots of great Cajun and Creole food that will guarantee a fun and tasty time.

Gator by the Bay 2025 tickets vary in price depending on the event/concert/day. You can purchase 3 or 4 day passes, too.
Visit the Gator by the Bay website for more information. If you can't get to New Orleans, Louisiana, this may be the next best thing right here in San Diego.
