Sandpoint Realty 'Thursday Thought' - May 1, 2025

Sandpoint Realty 'Thursday Thought' not specific to a single person's quote, or words.

Sandpoint Realty Thursday Thought Buffet Bezos

While not attributed to a single person this Sandpoint Realty Thursday thought is derived from highly successful CEO's.  A couple of which being Warren Buffet and Jeff Bezo's.

Warren Buffet stated to have asked his friend what was the #1 selling candy bar in 1962 and what was #1 selling candy bar in 2009?  In answer to his friends question, in 2009, of what can possibly be done to get us out of this mess.

Jeff Bezo's during an interview stated that one of the most asked questions, of him, was what he saw as the biggest changes coming?  Seldom, if ever, was he asked the more important question of what is not going to change?

With the changes and turmoil in Real Estate at the present time it is easy to get side tracked.  I believe these words help keep us focused, and cognizant, on what is really important.

Enjoy the weekend ahead North Idaho! Stay safe, stay healthy.

Interesting t consider, not sure what was the best selling candy bar, but I get the point. All we can do is to focus on our next task and be consistent. As I always tell people, when rates were at 18-20% people still sold and bought houses. Yes prices were much lower granted, but a way was found to meet people's goals.

Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint-Idaho I need to give this one a little more thought, but I am not initially in agreement with it.

In reading the words alone I agree with you George.  When with the video content I pulled it from much more convincing.  An example given.  Distribution centers.  Clients will always want prompt service, promised goods, fair pricing.  Never will we hear from a client.  Please charge me more, make your product undependable and I would prefer your deliveries not be as promised.  While the method may change, the core of what is trying to be accomplished will not.  Certainly not trying to change your mind just giving you a better context from which the words came.  Make it a good weekend.  m

Hi Mark= very interesting and makes you think. We can only focus on what is. Deal with that  and make adjustments for it.

Sticking with the tried and true methods will often lead to more success than worrying about changes.  Changes will always occur, and being solid with the fundamentals will always help us adapt to them better.
