On April 29, 2025, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) announced that the U.S. house price grew 0.1% in February of 2025 from January of 2025, and higher 3.9% from February of 2024, based on home sales values obtained from mortgages sold to or guaranteed by FNMA and Freddie Mac.
Nationwide, among nine census New England Divisions was highest with an increase of 1.3%, and Pacific Division had lowest with a loss of 0.8% in February of 2025 from January of 2025; while the Middle Atlantic Division was the highest with jump of 7.0%, and Pacific Division was the lowest with a gain of 0.9% in February of 2025, from February of 2024.
