I miss Trish's photos of the Arizona landscape, but she is still photographing wonderful things from her home in Ohio. I hope that you will enjoy them too! For those of you who haven't followed my blog over the years, Trish used to be my photographer for listings but has been retired for quite a while. Her prowess with photography will never be retired, though!!!

The photograph of the eclipse was perfect—too perfect. Detective Babba stared at it pinned on the investigation board—a masterpiece of the celestial event in hues of disappearing gold and shadow. Yet, something felt off.

Zooming in, she noticed a faint silhouette in the lower corner, almost imperceptible. A man? A shadow? She enhanced the image on her computer. The figure had no face, just an outline. Oddly, no one else had witnessed him that day. Rumors spread of the “Eclipse Phantom,” a spectral figure appearing only during celestial alignments.

Babba shivered, realizing—this wasn’t the first time he’d appeared in her photos.
