Keep Your Home Smelling FRESH!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Hamm Homes

Are you seeking ways to keep your home smelling fresh and inviting all day long?  Follow these tips to create an environment that is both soothing and refreshing, allowing you to unwind and relax in your space.

Incorporate indoor plants throughout your house.  Certain plants like bamboo palm and peace lily can help purify the air in your home while beautifying your surrounding.

Simmer citrus slices and herbs like lavender of mint in a small saucepan.  You can also simmer cinnamon sticks, vanilla, or rosemary.  The heat will diffuse the sweet scent throughout your house.

To keep your kitchen smelling fresh, clean your garbage disposal.  Run lemon or lime rinds through the disposal followed by hot water to eliminate any odors.

Will, these are excellent and practical tips for keeping a home smelling fresh and inviting! Incorporating indoor plants for air purification is a great natural approach. Simmering citrus and herbs creates such a welcoming and pleasant ambiance. And your reminder to clean the garbage disposal with lemon or lime rinds is a simple yet effective way to tackle kitchen odors. These are all fantastic suggestions for homeowners and especially for sellers preparing their homes for showings!

These are all good ways to keep a home smelling fresh. I have never tried running lemon or lime rinds through the disposal.  I never use my disposal.
