Nothing is certain in life and selling your home is no different. It seems like there are more and more Real Estate Agents in every single market. With so many agents to choose from, what is today's home seller to do?
Do you go with the latest TikTok Agent who makes you laugh? Do you go with that Agent that looks like they just stepped out of the set of "Selling LA"? Perhaps the easy going agent that works for the top Real Estate Brokerage in town? The self-proclaimed #1 agent? Your neighbor's daughter/son who just got their license??
Experience vs Popularity?
Those are tough decisions to make when you are trusting one of the largest assets that you may own. What if you can have an agent that may not be claiming the "No. 1" spot in your town but has experience over the latest social media popularity contest? Not saying that you can't have both but what if you just want your home to sell for the highest price your local market will take, with the least amount of life interruptions and you can save some money at the same time??
If you live in the following towns/cities* within 10 miles of Oswego, IL you have that opportunity. Effective today and until August 31, 2025 I am reducing my listing/selling commission from 2.5% to 2.25%! The only requiements are:
1. Sign an "RESIDENTIAL EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO SELL MARKETING AGREEMENT"*
2. Mutually agree to a selling price based on current market comparables in your neighborhood/town.
3. Actively implement recommendations on how to "stage" your home. Declutter, fix/repair, clean, etc. Accommodate showing requests as much as possible. Cooperate with your agent to show your home in the best light possible.
You will receive the same level of service that I have been providing my clients for the last 30 or more years since I became a licensed Realtor! Most of my business has been through word of mouth, previous client referrals and organic advertising.
You won't find me on TikTok or doing videos - although I admire those that are able to use those mediums to bring attention to themselves and their business. As an introvert (shy) by nature and more of a behind the scenes promoter - or as one of my previous clients - "Stated - your are not a typical high pressure sales person" - I may not be everyone's choice but for those who do pick me....I will do the best job possible within my control while trying to make it as stress free as possible for my clients! Plus you get to save some money in the process! As they used to say in my corporate years - "It's a Win Win for everyone!"
