Wondering What to Get Mom for Mothers Day?

Sunday is Mother's Day, and many wonder what to purchase for Mom. Many of my friends are going to brunch or dinner, and some just plan a visit. Many will receive some perfume or a blouse. Perhaps a gift card will be accepted. Flowers are also very popular and beloved gifts. 

Today, I quickly stopped at Lou Farm Market for Cherry tomatoes for my pasta salad. Their selections of produce and freshly made food have been awe-inspiring in the last several months, as well as their prices.

Their flower baskets, priced at $24.99, were the nicest I have seen this season. The section of lawn statues was exquisite and unique, and it would make a gift that would last many years. So if you want a special gift, check out Lou's Farm Market.

What a pretty farmers market Hannah!  That would be a favorite place on my list for sure!  As for my Mom, when she was still living, she really only wanted to spend time with family.  We'd often go out to brunch on Mothers Day growing up and that was always a special time.

Anna "Banana" Kruchten  I have to agree with you there. My Mom was happy to be with the family. When she moved to Florida, I always tried to send her flowers, even though she would scold me for spending the money, I knew she adored them.

Joan Cox I understand my mom passed away at 93, and I miss her every day. She was an energising bunny. When she told me she found a comfortable seat and was not getting up, I knew it was her time. I will visit her at the cemetary with flowers on Mother's Day although I believe it is my Dad that will enjoy the flowers more.

Mother's Day is Special, and she deserves to be pampered. Whether it is a brunch, a dinner, flowers, or a gift, it is a day created to make her feel special. They brought us into this world.

Hannah, Mother's Day is an easy one for me.  I get my wife a card (which are way to expensive these days), I take her out to dinner at a restaurant of her choice and hanging plants for the front of our house.  This has been our tradition for many years now.  ☺️

One of the best gifts I receive is from my step-daughter. She comes over this time of year to spend a couple of days golfing and planting my flower pots with me. Time spent together and flowers. What could be better than that?

Hannah Williams - Some people stop for garage sales; I stop for Gardens and Nurseries. From the picture you shared of the statues, the dog looks real! I love gardens. When people pass my house, it's my substitute wave to those who drive by.
