Friday Flags: A Home Depot Flag That Wanted to be Noticed

As a homeowner, it is next to impossible to not go to a hardware store almost monthly. It may not be urgent but the convenience is without equal.

An early spring day found me going to get the fertilizers I would need for the lawn and plants. Too early for the garden and flowers for the window boxes.

The wind was blowing pretty strong as I entered, and I paused just a bit to get this shot.  I made my purchases and went to the car to unload and move on.  n the way to put the cart away, I took a look up and the flag was crying out to me to snap another one, which I did.

Neither shot was bad, and in reality, this brand is pretty popular across the country.

Good morning, Ed... I'm trying to remember if I've seen a flag on my local Home Depot stores and can't seem to recall seeing any. But my local Bank of America branch just recently put up a big pole with a flag.

Ed, Home Depot is one of my regular stops, whether I need something or just looking for the next toy to purchase.  I have not notice an American Flag at ours, BUT I will make sure to check it out next time I am there.

Ed I had to laugh as I think Gary goes to Home Depot at least 2 to 4 times a week - and always brings his sidekick along - Norman.  Norman loves to 'lick' all the new friends he meets there!  And BTW they always have a flag flying.

 

Once again we passed the huge flag flying proud by the car museum yesterday and I thought of you!  One of these days I need to snap a few photos for you.  It's HUGE!

That is a nice capture!  It makes me wonder if all Home Depot locations have a flag flying proudly.  I will have to look when I am out and about today, haha.
