Lead... Don't Follow!

By
Real Estate Agent with LISTINGLIGHT

Can't tell you how many times people come to our booth at a trade show and say once the big agents use LISTINGLIGHTS, a night light for real estate signs, then everyone will follow! Why are most people sheep and like to follow rather than lead?

Sheep

The reason leaders are more successful is they take risks, they try new technology, they try and be different, they don't make excuses and they are excellent communicators. If your gut says to try something new ...do it now! Don't wait for your competitor to have it before you do. In this highly competitive business we chose, its imperative that we do things better than the next guy or gal! I don't want to be embarrassed to say I'm a Realtor! When people tell me that Realtors are equal to car salesmen it makes my blood boil...for both professions! The reason I invented a lighted sign was to be different, stand out in a crowded market, give sellers an extra 150 selling hours per month. More exposure means more sales! To me it's a no brain-erbut people are skeptical because they aren't seeing them everywhere yet. That's even more  reason to light up your sign now before the house for sale next door does. I've heard the lights are illegal in some neighborhoods and to that I say we have not received one citation from anywhere in the country because the lights turn on and off in 3 or 5 hours and no one has complained. While you're making excuses not to use something, your competitors have the lead and are winning listings in a tie breaker situation because of the added exposure. Ask yourself this, if you are selling your home and your agent offered you a new technology to give your home more exposure while the other houses in the farm area were in the dark the answer is obvious. Please read our testimonial page on our website and hear what other agents are saying about our product www.LISTINGLIGHT.com

I did see one Real Estate Co. in Sacramento try this and it really made the house and sign stand out at night. I surprised that others have not tried this with their listings. Using a little solar panel they didn't have to find power to plug into.

Hi Michael,

We had 4 engineers look at this project and they all concluded that batteries are brighter and more relaible than solar. They also only give you a max of 40% output which isn't very bright at all.LISTINGLIGHT is equivalent to a 30 watt light bulb and fully illuminates the sign and flyer box. We also have a 3 hor summer settign and a 5 hour Winter setting so we are HOA friendly.

Thanks for your comment,

Bob
