What is a Power Hour and do you have one?

This year I am trying to be more consistent reaching out to my sphere, even if it is deleting people from the CRM it is working towards finding those who are going to give me business.

Will Hamm I did not call it a Power Hour, but yes time during each day needs to be set aside for tasks like the ones you set time aside for.

Will, the concept of a Power Hour for dedicated prospecting is fantastic, especially for those who are self-reliant in their business! Setting aside that focused time for activities like postcard development can definitely contribute to positive results, as you've experienced. It's a great reminder that consistent outreach, in whatever form it takes, is key to being a "go-getter" in real estate. Do you find that having a specific goal for each Power Hour helps with productivity?

Will, my whole morning is spent focusing on my business.   That is the busiest time of the day for me.

Hello Will - I don't have a "power hour".  Good for you for finding a way, I imagine you have "many", that work well for you.  Finding such things for each of us is important.  Refining them is ongoing as is maintenance.  

Depends on the day.  Sometimes I take that free time when I'm usually productive and give it to my grandchildren.  Even if it's just sitting and holding them for a minute.  My oldest is 7 and probably won't be sitting in my lap much longer. 

At the office I work on ads, social media and direct mailings and sometimes clean off my desk.

 Power hour is a great idea Will.   I've done that for many years......and it was on my calendar as a must do. Now my power hour looks vastly different!  Retirement has it's privileges!

I guess I have never thought of it that way but I like the idea of the power hour! I better work on that... Sometimes I would sure like a power nap!! Thank you Will Hamm

A Power Hours is a great idea. When I practiced it, I had excellent results. I am resuming it again these days. Talking to people in person is, indeed, the best tool for generating new business.
