Buckley Air Force Base - Jets Overhead

Good morning Joan. The noise from jets was prevalent in downtown Chicago, Now in exurbia the sound of jets not so much. And, the sounds of sirens and cars with super sized stereos also have dwindled. Enjoy your day. 

Good morning, Joan... after hearing the night time flights all night long in Abu Dhabi when we were in the first Gulf War... I'm happy not to hear military jets.

Hello Joan - "sound" can impact real estate as well as everyday life.  Individually or when combined with senses of many different sorts can make a difference.  

We have a Space Force Base a couple of miles from my house. The air force still used the runways. Some top secret planes are tested there. It is so cool to watch.

I have to admit I rarely hear any jets over where I live. I listened to my share when I was married to my ex and he was a jet flight instructor.

I love seeing jets in the air at our annual airshow at Sun N Fun.

Hi Joan- when we lived in Delray Beach which is 20 minutes south of Mar-a-Lago we heard the fighters that were scrambled when civilian planes were too close. It was amazingly loud!

There use to be a Naval Air Base - Moffett Field - in the South Bay Area south of San Francisco. There were frequent flybys of jets and other aircraft. It has long ago been converted to commercial and civilian use.
