Friday Flags: A Wind Blowing to the west in Waterbury

Your Spring has  been completely out of the norm! It happens, I know growing up in upstate N.Y. there would be some springs that we couldn't make heads or tails of! LOL! But you still captured a great pic of Ole Glory proudly waving.

Good morning Ed. Sounds similar to the Spring weather we are experiencing here in Northern Illinois this year. Spring is teasing us with what can be and then gives us a dose of what is. To me, not funny. That said your captured your featured flag unfurled in all its beauty. Enjoy your day.

The weather is just one of the wacky parts of life - who knows what it will do from day to day, or even moment to moment?

That does seem like weird weather and never knowing what it will be like certainly keeps you on your toes, haha.

Those waits on just a bit of a draft to unfurl Ole Glory can be frustrating sometimes.  Nice shot.  m

Nice photo of the golf course flag Ed!  Looks serene to me!  When I drove by the huge flag by the car museum yesterday it was flying half-mask.  I have no idea why?  Do you?

Ed, great shot today, and quite breezy.  We have seen a few storms blowing through here too, wind is annoying, but haven't had snow for a while now, thankfully.

Ed that is a really nice flag photo.  It was fairly windy around here all week as well.

Ed- we've had summer temperatures this week. When we woke up this morning it was already in the high 70s and now it's 90 degrees!

The wind is blowing here bright now as well, Mike was thinking of pulling the flag down to prevent premature shredding, Ed!

Thanks for sharing Ed, our Midwest spring weather has been a bit of a roller coaster as well with temperature. The other day we had a dust/wind storm warning for the 1st time ever! We have no dessert here lol, so it was strange.

Ed Silva, 203-206-0754 - We know the wind is not human, but why then does it seem to have a mind of its own? One day the sun comes out and you think, what a beautiful day! Then comes the freezing snow and ice that pounds the ground, and you say yikes! And you call this Spring? 

Who needs a compass when the wind blows the American Flag???
