🍆 A BIG Garden Update 🍆

By

Back in March, I planted my Spring garden. I wrote a post about my use of electroculture gardening. Well, I can report that within just two months, this garden is going NUTS! I go out and pick produce every day but had a HUGE surprise yesterday!

As I was collecting the squash, zucchini, and cucumbers, sitting at the bottom was this MASSIVE motherload! How did I miss this from the other days I don't know. But, when I went to pull it out of there, I felt like a fisherman pulling in the winning prize! This thing was enormous!

I just started laughing so hard. I had to go inside to measure and weigh this beast! It is 15 inches long and weighs 5 pounds! I wish there was a contest where I could enter this gigantic produce! Wowzer.

Many of you asked me if this electroculture gardening works. Well, the proof is in the produce! A huge, resounding YES, it works. Take a look at these two pictures taken within just two months of one another. Unbelievable.

I will write another post soon on exactly how I make my electroculture gardening stakes. You do not need to pay for expensive ones. I made mine easily and I didn't spend too much either. Super easy.

Very cool. I do not have a green thumb, though I have grown a few pineapples from cutting off the top of one I bought...sticking it in water, then planting it on the side of the house. This I can handle...lol

You paint a fun picture of you hauling this prize winner from the ground.  And I am guessing 'wowzer' to be a professional gardening term  lol  Enjoy the weekend along with the fruits of your labor.  m

Holy Wowzer!

The proof is in the produce.  The photos do not lie.

Is there a difference in taste when they grow that large?

When I buy zucchini, I go for the smaller, more tender ones Dr. Paula McDonald

Yup we've missed a few over the years.  The secret to getting to use it is to cook it as soon as you pick the oversized ones.  They don't keep as long as the regular sized ones you pick.  We freeze a lot of summer squash.

Hi Paula- Your beds are amazing. My cousin brought tomatoes over this morning from her garden. Nothing beats homegrown.

I love your garden!  I have never been a big fan of squash and zucchini, but I really like cucumbers, haha.
