Sunday, May 18, 2025: 4203 Riverwalk, Flower Mound, Texas, 10 a.m. to 2:00p.m. 

 

University of Dallas - Location Toyota Music Factory

Sunday, May 19, 2025: Commencement Ceremony - 9:00 a.m. The University of Dallas will award degrees for the Constantin College of Liberal Arts, the Brantiff Graduate of Student Liberal Arts and the Stanish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business. 

 

Flower Mound Concerts in the Park 

Friday, May 23, 2025: The free concerts include a variety of family friendly 80s party band at Heritage Park, 600 Spinks Road, Flower Mound. 

 

Flower Mound Memorial Day Ceremony

Monday, May 26, 2025: Flower Mound Senior Center, 2701 W. Windsor Road, Flower Mound. The Town of Flower Mound and Local Leaders honor our fallen soldiers in a heartfelt Memorial ceremony. Keynote Speaker includes Doug Petersen, an Army Pilot and Vietnam Veteran, Award Winning Author, and Congressional Gold Medal Recipient.  

 

Flower Mound Summer Kickoff: Neon Lights

Monday, May 29, 2025:  5 to 7 p.m. Celebrate the start of summer with a 1980s-themed event at the Flower Mound Public Library. The evening will feature a glowing dance part, retro crafts and 1980s karaoke. Free admission. 3030 Broadmoor Lane, Flower Mound.

Nina Hollander, Broker - I definitely plan to attend the Memorial Day Ceremony. I have attended it yearly for as long as I can remember, even before I moved.

Nina Hollander, Broker - I believe towns and cities do better when they have good leadership, volunteers, and organizers that know how to plan for the greater good. I find good outdoor activities to be more engaging. Community involvement makes a big difference.

Wayne Martin - Crowds don't please me. Memorial Day Ceremonies are ones I enjoy and mean the most to me. I just remembered May Day was a day my schools in Chicago celebrated. I haven't heard any events like that here in Texas.

Good morning! I'm wondering if we missed the 70s band! 80s are on 5/23 and 90s on 5/30... I do know lots of music from those years, but 70s were my teenage years so know many more!

Kat Palmiotti - I prefer pre-80s music. We were still listening to the 70s and 60s music, but my kids and their friends seemed to enjoy the 80s and 90s. I couldn't take the headbanging music - it gave me a headache just to listen!
