I know we are a few weeks away from Father's Day, but I wanted today's conversation about this Man. Known to many as "Russ" to us he is Dad. He comes out every Spring as he makes the visits to his Five Children. When he is out here, he is up before me and outside watering my plants. His digging days and major planting are over, but he refuses to stop. Maybe this is why he will turn the BIG 9-5 in 3 weeks. All my yard skills I owe directly to Dad/Russ. When I was just tiny, he would take me to My Grandparents home in Quincy Massachusetts in the early 1960's. My Grandfather had the most AMAZING Garden ever, including rows and rows of Grapevine's.
