It is that time of year when you can enjoy Music at the Movies on Wednesdays once a month. Mark your calendars today! These Wednesdays will feature a free concert followed by a family-friendly movie under the stars.

Join in at 5 pm for the following event nights:

Wednesday, May 28th, Traditions Neighborhood Park, 100 S. Jackson Gap Way Music: Kalarma Polynesian Dancers - Movie: "Moana 2" (PG)
Wednesday, June 25th, Aqua Vista Park, 18700 E. Wagon Trail Circle. Music: Decades Dance Band, Movie: "Grease" sing-a-long (PG)
Wednesday, July 9th, Country Lane Park, 10099 E. Colorado Ave. Music: The Man Cubs Movie: "IF" (PG)
Wednesday, July 23rd, Mission Viejo Park, 3999 S. Mission Parkway Music: Animal Farm Movie: "Captain America" Brace New Word" (PG-13)

The New York Philharmonic has done events where they have a film that John Williams scored- and wow is that a music at the movies event. I went to the screening of E.T. at Lincoln Center, and they removed all the recorded music- and the NY Philharmonic performs in place of the recordings.....and it's just such an amazing experience. Since launching this type of series- I also saw the NY Phil perform a Movies of Pixar as well and I haven't gone- but should go to their best sellers, the original Star Wars Trilogy with music by the Philharmonic.
