Penny Production to End

They have kicked this around for more than 30 years!! They actually did this overseas in some of the military concessions due to lack of change.

Hi Roy.I will miss seeing Honest Abe Lincoln around as much but not the penny.Abe, I knew you well. I collected pennies and coins when I was a kid. I wonder if there will scam pricing such as rounding up on a price instead of rounding down. In mass, the rounding can be a lot. Jeff

Roy, Maany people are split on this. Some think getting rid of the penny makes sense to save money, while others feel it's still useful for exact change or just like having it around

I heard that, Roy. As I rarely pay cash for much of anything these days, I figure it won't impact me all that much.

Hello Roy - following the money in this case may be short sighted as a diversionary tactic.  

Roy Kelley - I would imagine that many creative hobbyists will be reinventing the penny in unusual ways to make more than a penny's worth.
