Did you know that June 2nd is celebrated is the longest-used area code for  Phoenix? 

Check out on the link below the discounts that many small businesses are offering today.

Perusing through the Business participant directory I found a cool map of Phoenix neighborhood, also for Tempe, Gilbert, Scottsdale, and almost any city in the metro area. I never knew those maps existed. They are quite fun. mapStand - Etsy

Hi George Souto , I thought so, too, when I saw it on the events page of City of Phoenix. It's the phone area code that is 602. After the initial area code 602, there are several others that were introduce - 480-, 623-, 520-.

The city I live in changed it's area code about 25 years ago from 404 to 706.  Georgia went through a lot of changes and added many over the past couple of decades.

Brian England , I saw the notice about and the link to the business that are celebrating it, on the Phoenix Art museum newsletter. then on the City of Phoenix web-site, and while we were driving on I-10 yesterday, I saw billboard mentioning it. It's funny how I hadn't noticed it prior years.
