If you're looking for a new, lively spot to grab a bite in Walhalla, look no further than The Garage on Main. Our visit this past Friday was an absolute treat, and we can’t wait to return!
The atmosphere was buzzing as we arrived at 5 PM—definitely a popular time, but it didn’t take away from the fun energy. The Garage on Main, which has only been open for a few months, has quickly earned a reputation for its great food and vibrant vibe. The space was cozy and welcoming, a perfect balance of casual dining and a bit of excitement.
We kicked off our meal with the Pimento Cheese Dip, a creamy, flavorful starter that was perfect for sharing. The dip was rich and paired with two types of crackers—providing the perfect crunch and balance to complement the dip’s smooth, savory flavor.
For the main event, we enjoyed a couple of standout dishes. The Philly Po Boy was a classic with tender beef, melted cheese, and all the right toppings, making each bite a flavor explosion. The Flatbread with Chicken, Bacon, and Ranch was another highlight—crispy, savory, and downright delicious. Both dishes hit the spot and were packed with taste.
To wash it all down, we tried a Lager on Tap and some refreshing cider—just a couple of the many drink options The Garage on Main offers. The cider had the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness, making it a great complement to our meal.
The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed while still allowing us to enjoy the lively atmosphere. Despite the crowd, service was prompt, and we never felt rushed, even during the busy Friday rush.
