Tuesday’s Treasures…The Queen’s Fashion Show
Last week I attended the Queen’s fashion show. The Queen, as she is known by everyone, is Cretora Biggerstaff, 106 years young.
Cretora is my best friend, Carol’s mother.
Trust me when I tell you, this Centenarian (+) could run circles around any of us. After lunch at her residence (Paradise Springs Senior Living), she had to run because she had a homeowners board meeting, a game of bridge, and one other group activity…all before dinner!
You may have seen her story on the news…Fox, as well as the Today Show. The computers need to get with it. When Cretora flies, they can’t compute her age because she’s over 100. She wrote the airlines and the Department of Transportation. I will tell you that a couple saw her story and are flying her and her daughter to Italy.
Getting older doesn’t mean we have to stop
having fun or enjoying life!
Today is the oldest you’ve ever been, and
the youngest you’ll ever be again.
