One of the things I get into here in The Villages, Florida is helping people find an estate sale company. Many times, folks are moving on to a new chapter in their life whether it’s moving into independent living or the loss of a spouse and returning to what was home before moving here to be close to family. Sometimes they hand me the keys as a family member is here helping them pack up what they are taking with them. If they let it up to me my first call is to Eagle Estate Sales who I have worked with helping clients who are moving on to their next chapter.
I have had my share of these situations, so sad as I can imagine their excitement years ago moving to The Villages. Sometimes it is heartbreaking seeing what was important to somebody now stacked on tables and throughout the home being sold for pennies on the dollar but that is what happens. Before the sale opens most times I walked through the house and think to myself I need to go home and either donate, sell, giveaway or trash a bunch of stuff!
