Keep Yourself Safe from Scams in the Age of AI

“Protect What You’ve Built: Keep Yourself Safe from Scams in the Age of AI”

As technology has advanced, scammers have become increasingly sophisticated. Equipped with Artificial Intelligence, they can convincingly impersonate your loved ones, service providers and legitimate organizations, to steal your personal and financial information. Join representatives from the Maryland Department of Labor’s Office of Financial Regulation and AARP for a presentation on the most common scams in Montgomery County and the protections available to help keep you safe. Refreshments will be provided. The FEC will be on-site to answer financial questions and provide information about free, one-on-one financial counseling services.
