When I left, I never thought about there being toll roads. We have one in Aurora, but thinking that is the only one in all of Colorado. Coming across Illinois, I saw it was a toll road, but there were no signs as to how to sign up for the program to pay them. Guess I will get something in the mail. In NY they said **826 and sign up, so I did.
Coming from Detroit to South Bend IN, I put both into my gps - toll road and no toll road, and there was about 15 minute difference. NOT bad, no toll roads. So, got to see the beautiful countryside. Tree-lined narrow country roads - just beautiful.
Last night there was quite the storm, and was hoping it wouldn't hail! I was on the top floor, so once it started pouring, it was LOUD. I watched out the window to see if there would be any funnel clouds, and saw none, thankfully.
Tomorrow onto to Des Moines, then Sunday will be the L O N G day. 10 hours home, but this time I GAIN one hour.
BTW, Lucy let the pet sitter get two pets in before she hissed! LOL I told Becky, she doesn't bite or claw, so hissing won't hurt her, but Lucy needs to get used to the pet sitters. I will be gone in September for 3 weeks to Europe!
