      This Week…Houston’s Two H’s

 

Houston is known for two things in the summer: it’s hot and humid. We expect temperatures in the 90s plus; however, the humidity has been brutal.

Luckily, Jeff Dowler, CRS has a Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad!  If you are a musician of any skill, today is the day to grab your guitar…take out your trumpet...find your flute…or drag out your drum and start playing!!!

Hello Kathy - as you thrive on this first weekend of Summer 2025, may Make Music Day strike a chord (or is it really cord in this case) with you.   While my musical abilities have long been unexpressed and for a lot of good reasons, if a hummable tune hits me, I will happy when it enters my brain.  Stay cool - like jazz or something equally soothing for you.

Make Music Day - my kind of day Kathy!  I'll have to check this out around town and see what's happening.  Thankfully we have cooled down a bit and humidity is practically zero.  But when the monsoon season rolls in - ugh!  Hot and Humid but we Phoenicians love the rain!
