Thoughts…Points…Schmoints

A lot of people had some really good ideas, but it's a shame that in the end the points are worthless and won't be able to be used to make any of those wonderful things come true, haha.

There have been so many great posts, full of inspiration and worthwhile causes.

Kathy, It was nice to read everyone’s stories and see how our imaginations can run wild.

Good morning, Kathy... great perspective on the June Challenge. Sadly, I can only dream of having as much money as Active Rain points for what I donated during the month.

Kathy, it has been fun to see where all the Rainers would spend the point dollars, if they were available.  Creativity has been great.

The Point Store shopping is always fun, but I think we took it to a new level this time

Always loved the John Lennon quote. Care nothing about the points, but did enjoy the cool posts.

Kathy I leaned something new from your blog.  I did not know that another word for "points" is "schmoints" ☺️

Kathy thank you!  You nailed it!  That is exactly what I envisioned when I thought of this idea for the Point Store Opening for the June Challenge!

For those of us who participated, it meant it was time to put on our Imagination GetUp and go shopping…not down the Market Report Aisle or New Listing Aisle, but rather down the Get Creative and Imagine Something Aisle.

I have read many of these posts, and they all have a common feature: Active Rain members have a good, sharing heart.  I think this is why I keep coming back to it.

Thanks so much for sharing this thoughtful post, Kathy Streib. I really appreciate your perspective on how imagination and community can turn dreams into reality. It's a powerful reminder for us all. 😊 Keep inspiring us!

Oh my gosh, thank you so much, Kathy! I loved June's challenge and had a blast reading all of the entries! I'm trying to go back and be sure I read them all - there were a LOT of great day-dreamers and incredibly creative posts. What a fun month is was! 

Hello Kathy and I mess up and forgot to go shopping and use up some of my points for the contest.

it was a fun thought and if I could spend my points to better at the community, I would definitely be a whore though, but now as I said earlier, let’s go forth and be good to each other

I haven't read all the entries, but the ones I did read were so good!

I wouldn’t worry about it. Most of us are just doing the best we can to participate on the block here. Love and light!

Enjoyed the ones I read, but in the summer with the garden and two jobs there isn't a lot of reading time.
