I love this, Marney. I also donated points to the Charlotte=Mecklenburg Police Animal Care and Control shelter... they are always in crisis situation when it comes to space.

Oh dear, what a wonderful organization, my wife would be sending them funds. She supports all efforts of no kill shelters. I love your images as well.

There are many animal lovers here! What a worthy cause !!

Marney it seems as if many shelters are having this same issue.  It breaks my heart to see these pups go through so much distress.  And I know there are many, many people like us who support our local organizations.  All of our dogs have been rescues and they have all been so sweet!  Great way to spend your AR Points!

Great way to spend the AR points and do so much good at the same time. Shelters need the help especially with so much funding being stopped.

As a fellow animal advocate, this one hit me right in the heart, Marney. BARCS is doing incredible, life-saving work under heartbreaking circumstances, and your decision to “spend” your points there is both powerful and deeply meaningful. If only we could turn those points into paw-sitive miracles—because every tail wag, every safe foster, and every forever home matters.

I host an annual shelter fund raiser for Humane Society Charlotte and like you, always wish I could give more!  Thank you for such a wonderful entry in this month's Point Store challenge!
