Good morning, Brian. Jesus did say "the poor you will have you with us always." Sadly, this is true, but it's still no excuse not to help "the least" among us.

Good morning Brian. Poverty will never completely go away. Some just won't help themselves. That said properly executed hands-up programs for those willing to help themselves is a positive step for those giving and those receiving. Curtailing hand-out programs for those qualified to help themselves would do more good than harm. Enjoy your day. 

Brian poverty remains a big problem these days, especially for many of our Veterans.  It is good to see there are organizations helping out, because our government doesn't seem to make it a priority.

Sadly Brian, poverty is still a big issue for so many people. It’s encouraging to see groups stepping up to help!

Some poverity is life choices, other is health and mental choices that don't align with society.  I am so glad you are trying to work through and are able to help those who really can't do better by themselves.  Have a great week.
