Although we heard a lot of firecrackers within the campground we saw little to no fireworks in the sky during the 4th of July. I am/was thankful that the campground rules prohibit fireworks within it.
Burning objects falling from the sky to the ground is not a good thing for tents, awnings, and screen houses.
Thus, like Timmothy's cartoon above we also watched the fireworks on TV as opposed to being outside, fighting mosquitos and the urge to shut our eyes and go to sleep.
Thank God our forefathers rebelled against tyranny. Thank God our forefathers gave us a minimalist government. How did we go from that minimalist government to such an invasive one focused on entitlement. I can tell you it has NOTHING to do with a government focused on God as it first was.
