Italica Bar: Italian Speakeasy in Indio!
Looking for a cool vibe, attentive service, and exceptional classic Italian food with a modern twist? Italica Bar in the heart of Indio might not be on your list. But it should be. You might miss it... tucked beside The Taproom on Miles Avenue, the shiny door and welcome mat are the only indication that a hidden experience is waiting for you. A true case of "if you know, you know"! 
I was looking for something unique for my birthday dinner last night, and had heard about an Italian speakeasy in Indio. I was happy to learn that they were open in the summer, because many restaurants close here in the off-season. We were surprised to walk into this dark and chic dining room and find it packed and hopping... on a 100° July evening.
Dinner was delicious with the Pasta Bolognese, Chicken Milanese, and Beef Carpaccio outstanding favorites! The atmosphere transports you to a modern-chic Italian place with a big city feel. The service was friendly and knowledgeable- and Amanda was outstanding !
Highly recommend Italica for a unique and captivating dining experience off the beaten path!
