Oh, the questions I get which leads to digging around looking for answers. So let me share a few facts that I get asked often, disclaimer here I use AI plus old fashion Google searches to find this information.
First females out number males in The Villages, Florida 54% to males 46%, women live longer so that makes sense. Next 75% of Villagers are married that is very easy to see but when you consider population is about 157,000 (my estimate) you are looking at around 40,000 singles. That is a question I get when working with single buyers which I do a lot.
Age, average age of a Villager 73.6, but here is an interesting nugget 22% are under 65 years old. Using the same math as about that means about 35,000 Village residents are under 65.
