My first thought was wow, really? How cool!

And yes, if I had to, I could go without internet for 24 hours or more. But I would definitely want to use it! I'd probably make a list of all the things I want to look up when I got the internet back.

Good morning Kathy. While I should have paid more attention, I ignored it. Still to this day I am not a techie, but adapting to its use. I am here in the Rain daily and even in retirement and requesting to unsubscribe from many sites, my email inbox is always full. It makes my finger sore to press the delete button. Enjoy your day.

It seems that everything is on the web these days, but it feels good to not rely upon it when we are able to do so, haha.

I remember the first time I spoke to someone about getting my business on the web. I looked at him like he had three heads...lol

I can't say I remember having a "first thought". Over time, I embraced it and now (of course) it's an integral part of my life. I could go without it for 24 hours, but I wouldn't necessarily want to because I'm too curious. When I have a question I want the answer... now!  😂

Kathy, No idea when I first heard about it. I probably shrugged and thought, 'Just another trend.' Who knew it would change everything!

Hello Kathy - I remember when I first became acquainted and aware of the world wide web.    Is it ubiquitous - well, thanks to www I can now spell it with ease. 

I think my first thought was one of excitement at what the future was going to hold. I had no idea where exactly it was going to go but what a journey it has been.

Kathy, when the Internet came alive, it was SO exciting!   AND, to this day, not sure how we could have lived without it for so many years.

By then I was way into the whole idea and imagining the possibilities! I recall being the first agent to actually be hooked up from my home office to MLS back then and that was AWESOME!   That was all due to one of my total geek buds that listening to what I thought would be cool and he figured it out.  Fun times!  Still is all these years to now!

Hello Kathy, I guess I must forgetting some things from way back than, but should of remember this.

Kathy so Sir Timothy John Berners-Lee was the founder of the World Wide Web.   And all this time I thought it was Al Gore.   🤪

And my oh my has the world changed since then! Thanks for sharing this information I really didnt know that Sir Timothy allowed us all to have the source code for free. Good thing Al Gore really did not have this information or we would all be paying out the nose!

Seems to me I thought the idea was very cool and wondered about where this would lead, but don't recall much beyond that. That certainly was a long time ago!

I can, and have, gone 24 hours without visiting any websites. However, not often. Not easy these days.
