I was just hanging around the house ...
That's right.. no showings, no appointments, just hanging around the house, and reached out to my buddy Bill Spear to say "how are you doin'?" cause I knew that his mom had recently had some health issues, and he texted me back that he was doing fine, and said he was in a ActiveRain zoom meeting with Nick Vandekar who was regaling us about SE Pennsylvania.
Well, at one point in my life I used to live in eastern Pennsylvania (Bethlehem), so I just couldn't resist (and besides, I really was just sitting there twiddling both of my thumbs)... so while I was fifteen minutes late, I popped into the Active Rain Zoom meeting well under way, and joined in. Nick was running a highly organized presentation including powerpoint slides and a great side schtick. Everyone was highly attentive and Nick was adept and knowedgeable... a great combination.
Before his presentation was over, we were all laughing and very familiar with mushrooms and paradise and intercourse (don't ask).
I can highly recommend joining AR's next zoom meeting benevolently hosted by the wonderful Debe Maxwell who gives generously of her time, and thank so kindly to Nick Vandekar who clearly spent a great deal of time preparing for his presentation of SE Pennsylvania.
If anyone else is interested in highlighting the wonders and features of their own area of the country, please make sure to let Debe Maxwell know. I'm sure she'd love to set you up as a the next spokesperson... and we can all tune in.
