Sometimes
The Issue for Me is “U”
and the randomness of it all can say much. . .
I am far from perfect. A look in the mirror continues to remind me. And more than a few others reflecting similarly have reinforced those thoughts. But enough about me as well as others' perception of moi.
Today, I am addressing the issue of “U”. As in “unprecedented” and “unsettling”. The overuse of these “u” words - is undeniably evidence that something is amiss. And for an unbelievably long time. While I may be unfocused at times and some things may go unnoticed, I continue to wander about as well as wonder on the occurrences of daily life.
Hyperbole, hijinks and hysterical (at least in my mind) hijacking of word usage have made their way into my posts over the years. However, shifting to a kinder, more thoughtful route for the observation of many things might put my pondering on a path that may be considered untethered. And does that open gaits of different sort. And that's not just horsing around either. . .
Many years err decades back, another "un" word was introduced. While not exactly a typical "un" one it works for me in writing this post. The soft drink 7-Up was minted as the uncola in an advertising campaign. Or maybe you're too young to remember or too old like me to recall the most unclear of messages we received way back when. Or is it way back then. I digress. Oh, those were simpler and uncomplicated times. But were they really.

And on another seemingly unrelated subject:
Choosing the
freedom to be uninteresting never quite worked for me.

Does it all come together. Yes, I wonder.
